The suite is the entire garden level of the house (approximately 1000 sq.ft./100 sq. metres). It is located on a quiet street in a safe and elegant residential area close to downtown, shops, restaurants, and several sandy beaches.

Sliding glass doors lead out to a south facing patio with a fully fenced garden. It has a separate entrance to the patio and garden where you can enjoy a bar-b-que on the patio, or sit in the garden with a glass of wine on warm summer evenings.

The suite sleeps 4-5 persons. It offers a master bedroom with a queen size bed, a second bedroom with one set of bunk beds, (a double and a single bed), and a third bedroom or den.

There is one full bathroom with combined bath and shower. All linens and towels are supplied.

The spacious living room has a flat screen television, high speed internet, VCR, DVD and sound system. There is ground level access from the living room to the south facing garden.

An additional sitting or reading area joins the living room to the dining area. The accommodations are furnished throughout with antique, fair trade, reclaimed furnishings and an Oriental flair.

There is a well equipped kitchen with full-sized fridge, stove, microwave, dishwasher and washer/dryer. The kitchen is supplied with high quality cooking utensils and all the amenities to cook a wonderful gourmet meal for 10.

Heart of Kitsilano - A short drive over the Lions Gate Bridge takes you to 3 local ski hills

From our home you can easily explore the city by foot. Stroll to any of the local beaches and watch the stunning ocean views and sunsets. Kitsilano beach has tennis courts and a salt-water fed swimming pool. From this beach you can walk or bike along the waterfront for miles past Granville Island (which offers amazing local fresh fish and produce), into downtown. Then follow the walking/bike path along the coastline and into Stanley Park. Go in the other direction to 2 more wonderful sandy beaches, or to the University of British Columbia to visit the Museum of Anthropology or take a walk in Pacific Spirit Park.

A short drive over the Lions Gate Bridge takes you to 3 local ski hills which offer great winter skiing and summer hikes with spectacular views of the city and surroundings. Take a daytrip to Harrison Hot Springs, Victoria on Vancouver Island, or explore the many Gulf Islands off the B.C. Coast. Whistler is only a 2 hour drive away and offers world class skiing and great summer recreation.
